The ceilings with concealed structure, manufactured by PROMETAL, are the ideal solution in areas where a high level of hygiene is required.

PROMETAL PSN is a metal ceiling system made up of panels with dimensions: 600 x 600 mm, clipped onto a supporting structure. Perforated panels equipped with a sound filter provide increased sound absorption, ensuring optimal ambient acoustics. This ceiling is recommended for any location. Being easy to install, this ceiling allows access to technical installations suspended in the ceiling cavity, so that any maintenance or remediation is carried out in optimal conditions.

ADVANTAGES

• The final appearance of the ceiling is linear and unitary.

• Designed for premises where a high degree of hygiene (ceiling without porous finishing) is required.

• The system allows access to electrical, ventilation, data or other technical installations installed in the ceiling cavity.

SOUNDPROOFING

To ensure good acoustic insulation, perforated panels (see table of perforations) are used, being lined on the inside with a hot-dip black filter.

THERMAL INSULATION

Thermal insulation is made with thermal insulation materials (e.g. a mattress made of mineral wool), positioned over the ceiling.

INTEGRATED SERVICES

The flexibility of the system allows easy mounting of the following accessories:

• Lighting fixtures and devices: light channels, ceilings, embedded spotlights, etc.;

• Air diffusers: air suction and discharge grilles, ceiling diffusers, ventilators, etc.;

• Safety systems: sprinklers, smoke detectors, etc.

INSTALLATION SYSTEM

PROMETAL PSN system can be mounted using two types of structure according to the requirements.

• Clipped onto a load bearing structure made up of triangular profiles. This typology is provided for the following types of false ceiling: PSN; PSN OPENING; PSN CS.

• Clipped onto a load bearing structure consisting of a metal tube and springs. This typology is provided for the following types of false ceiling: PSN TC; PSN TC AIRTIGHT.

STORAGE AND HANDLING

• Panels are stored in dry and covered areas.

• The panels must remain in original packing until installation.

• Cartons must be stored and oriented as per instructions.

• Special care must be used during handling and opening of boxes to avoid damages.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

For proper maintenance, we recommend you to comply with the following instructions:

• Dust should be removed from the panels by wiping them with a clean soft cloth;

• Any greasy stains will be cleaned with the aid of a fine detergent, especially for this type of product.

• Don't use abrasive cleaners or rough fabrics. Cleaning is done by simply wiping and in no case by rubbing.

PROMETAL PSN

PSN suspended ceiling is used in cases where an economic ceiling is desired but with a high quality level. Panels provided with a special profile are clipped onto a primary load bearing structure consisting of a triangular profile.

The particular design of the profile allows a very easy positioning of the panel in its place, but with the help of a special tool available on request, just as easy it is to pull the panel out.

The ceiling is supplied standard with a simple structure, formed only by the main carrier and the hangers. If the false ceiling requires higher stiffening and compaction, a double structure can be provided, containing (in addition to the standard one):

• "C" sections,

• hanging holders,

• springs.

• PSN OPENING SYSTEM

The PSN OPENING metal ceiling maintains all the features of the standard PSN system, responding to the demand for an economic and quality product, even in cases of excessive handling. A special design of edges allows it to be tilted downwards, but still retained by the triangular profile, without the need for complete removal of the panel to perform an intervention at the technical installations suspended above the ceiling. This reduces the working time of the interventions to repair the installations. The ceiling is supplied standard with a simple structure, formed only by the main carrier and the hangers. If the false ceiling requires higher stiffening and compaction, a double structure can be provided, containing (in addition to the standard one) "C" sections, hanging holders and springs.

PSN TC SYSTEM

PSN TC system allows for greater system adaptation when installing in external spaces or when installing panels of large size or thickness. The panels have sectional edges so that they can be fastened by special clips, which in turn, are supported by a 22mm diameter round metal tube. Panels are individually removable for easy access to the cavity of the false ceiling. The false ceiling is supplied as standard with a simple structure consisting of 22mm diameter metal tubes and spring clips. If the false ceiling requires higher stiffening and compaction, a double structure can be provided, containing, in addition to the standard, "C" sections, hanging holders and springs.

PSN TC - TC AIRTIGHT

The PSN TC AIRTIGHT false ceiling maintains the characteristics of the PSN TC ceiling but also provides an optimal degree of dust-proofing. This feature makes it ideal for use in areas where rigorous control over environmental hygiene is required. Dust-proofing is achieved by inserting gaskets between the panels and between the panels and the edge profiles. In order to maintain the dust-proofing feature, it is imperative not to use perforated panels. The false ceiling is supplied as standard with a simple structure consisting of 22mm diameter metal tubes and spring clips. If the false ceiling requires higher stiffening and compaction, a double structure can be provided, containing, in addition to the standard, "C" sections, hanging holders and springs.
