OPEN CELL CEILINGS, manufactured by PROMETAL
The open cell ceilings manufactured by PROMETAL are intended for the manufacture of ceiling systems in commercial areas, public areas, exhibition and conference centres, enclosures and access areas in high traffic buildings, fuel stations, airports, supermarkets, metro stations. Metal panels are available in colours with any RAL code. Specific advantages:

continuity of surfaces without the load bearing structure or joints;

avoid cutting the panels for installations in the ceiling cavity;

installation of the panels by inset allows the inspection of any area in the ceiling cavity.
Due to the system flexibility (wide range of shapes and colours), the play of light created by locating a diffused lighting system in the ceiling cavity or by spotlights positioned within the cells, the open cell ceilings feature multiple architectural opportunities.
Smoke evacuation can be done through false ceiling cells that mask the installations located in the space created between the ceiling and the false ceiling, giving the image of a uniform and unitary ceiling.
ADVANTAGES
The most important advantage of using this type of ceiling is: continuity of surfaces, without seeing the load bearing structure or joints.
Another feature of the cell ceiling is to avoid cutting the panels for mounting the installations in the ceiling cavity. The terminals can be positioned according to the technical requirements, without changing the panels.
The mounting of panels by fixing allows the inspection of any space in the ceiling cavity, so only a minimum of attention is sufficient during the dismantling and mounting of the panels.

INTEGRATED SERVICES
The flexibility of the system allows mounting various accessories:

Lighting fixtures: light channels, ceilings, embedded spotlights, etc.;

Air diffusers: air suction and discharge grilles, ceiling diffusers, ventilators;

Safety systems: sprinklers, smoke detectors, etc.
STORAGE AND HANDLING

Panels are stored in dry and covered areas.

The panels are kept in their own packaging until installation.

Cartons must be stored and oriented as per instructions.

Special care must be used during handling and opening of boxes to avoid damages.
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
For proper maintenance, the following instructions must be followed:

Dust should be removed from the surface by wiping with a clean soft cloth.

Any greasy stains will be cleaned with the aid of a fine detergent, especially for this type of product.

Don't use abrasive cleaners or rough fabrics (abrasive materials).
-
Cleaning is done by simply wiping and in no case by rubbing.

ASSEMBLY
The open cell ceiling consists of:
-
BLADES P600, P1200, P1800
-
BLADES TM-TF
Components type P, crossed together, form a square grid normally in module 600x600 mm (or alternative 600x1200 mm), where panels are mounted.
TM and TF blades assembled in the first phase will form 600x600mm panels, which will be mounted in the initial structure so as to obtain a continuous ceiling without structural or visible interruptions.
Two different mounting systems can be used:

For cell dimensions from 50x50mm to 86x86mm, the load bearing structure consists of P1800 and P600 components disposed as shown in Figure 1 (below).

If the selected panels have cells larger than 86x86mm, the load bearing structure will be made of P600, P1200, P1800 blades, as shown in Figure 2 (below).
